Counselling & Kinesiology across Newcastle
Mind Body Health Solutions provides an integrated therapeutic approach that blends counselling & kinesiology, to support whole‑person wellbeing. I’m based in Newcastle, and I have loads of experience in helping individuals reflect on their wellbeing to discover the life they want and how they can get there. My counselling approach is trauma‑informed, person‑centred, and grounded in holistic wellbeing that draws on kinesiology to access and work the mind, body connection. I am a teacher, counsellor, kinesiologist, parent, coach and a member of the Newcastle community waiting to help others reach their potential and feel good about life. If you feel stuck, confused or unsure of how to thrive in your career, in relationships, at school, or in relation to your mental or physical health, get in touch, I’m more than happy to help.

Our integrated sessions combine therapeutic dialogue, movement‑based techniques, and nervous‑system regulation to support emotional wellbeing, learning, and sustainable personal development.
Working with children & young people
As a teacher and wellbeing lead in an alternative high school I have worked alongside young people dealing with a range of problems that impact their wellbeing and ability to learn. Through this work I have learnt to listen, understand and map the experiences of children & young people in ways that increase self-awareness, build confidence and connect them to the things that are important to them, the things that make anything possible. I take a partnership approach where I work alongside young people to discover ways, they can navigate challenges and understand the complexities of schools and other social contexts.
Working with Adults
Over the years I have worked with adults across a range of contexts, at the centre of this work is the belief that we all have the ability to create the life we want and overcome any challenges to our health and wellbeing. It doesn’t matter if it is impacting your physical, psychological, social or other parts of your wellbeing, through our integrated sessions you are given the opportunity to make meaningful change to give you the life you want. I also have a passion for men’s health and breaking down the barriers to seeking support to overcome the challenges that men often face.
A Holistic Mind-Body Counselling Approach
We work collaboratively with individuals to explore the broader contexts shaping their challenges. By separating the person from the problem, we help people reconnect with their internal resources, build on existing capabilities and establish an authentic way of being that unlocks opportunities to live the life you choose.
Somatic practices are central to our work. These approaches help individuals:
- connect with their physical and emotional experiences
- process past events safely and gently
- integrate new learning through embodied awareness
- build confidence, regulation, and self‑understanding
This mind–body approach supports meaningful change that feels grounded, achievable, and aligned with personal values.
We can address things like:
- anxiety
- depression
- stress
- fatigue
- pain
- anger & irritability
- overwhelm
- learning difficulties (ADHD, ODD, etc.)
- relationship issues
